SeepeopleS – Shame

As ever we are put through our paces on a SeepeopleS track (some going, they have been a musical unit for over 20 years and still innovating) and on this occasion it had me thinking of Mercury Rev insofar as there is a cerebral quality which exposes us to an active and imagination force. And at its core is a chorus that hits us straight away for ‘Shame’ has a quality that is more than catchy, there is an Alan Parsons sense of longevity here so it may well be getting an airing decades from now. A sweet piece of work, one to carry with us when we need reassuring that music today has a beating heart with the communication skills to pass it on to all and sundry. KH
