Al Costelloe exists in a world where the 90s dream has not yet faded so we get a slacker chords or two, a jangling riff and most of all a chance to hear her vocals gracefully surf atop the wave of indie niceness. ‘Other Side’ feels like the Londoner’s definitive statement thusfar because it all falls into place with an effortless than we’d normally only associate with the likes of Camera Obscura.
