Palomino – The Mauves

Sure does have a bounding out of the blocks kind of effect and that means and that means we were instantly drawn to Palomino’s pulsing heart. They are a band you see, 3-piece from New South Wales, have the ghost of indie rock in their soul and that means we’re instantly drawn to the spirit of ‘The Mauves’. It is an innocent and free piece of rhapsody and that it comes with a centrepiece that is equally of the offbeat and idiosyncratic – the effect makes us like them even more. Yep we’re back to mixtapes culled from nighttime radio shows here alright, let’s call this a keeper as a result. KH
