Michael Dunstan – Sunsets, Silhouettes

The kind of track to spirit the listener away to somewhere with more calm and more room for manoeuvre and for me the kind of track that shows this Western Australian artist in their best light. A little Elliott Smith but the kind of atmosphere that takes us clear of drama, worries and instead we bath in the soft light of contentment. Michael Dunstan has been at our door dropping lovely nuggets for some time but ‘Sunsets, Silhouettes’ is where everything has coalased in its beautiful detailing. Subtle tempo shifts and a healtier outlook on life guaranteed once you let it softly run riot with your psyche. Absolute bliss and highly recommended for consistently brilliant chill. KH
