Eyas – Object Permanence

Such is the way this track emerged it felt like an embolded James Bond theme with full arrangements to match the floating singing that might have descended from above with a whole slew of dreamy sequences in which to remind us of Broadcast and Mummers. There is a fine line between pop and the likes of ‘Object Permanence’ that has me quantifying whether it was our kind of thing but such is the lush goings-on, in a chorus full of swoonful arcs, that we were just left with no option but to wipe away the salivation from the corner of our mouth. Gorgeous stuff. KH
