Chief Broom – Leaks

Now that appears to me to be heavy duty riffage and that means we are invited to down tools and get with all the funny avenues of distraction that Idaho’s Chief Broom have to offer. ‘Leaks’ is you see as good as its word as it snakes in every which direction and demands a little more than usual and that is something that we do cherish above all. Better still if it is done with an indie-rock and slacker vibe, which Chief Broom seem perfectly set up to do. Reminded me of Modest Mouse and Sonic Youth and so we were treated to 5+ minutes of sheer foraging fare. KH
