Now I must say the first act I thought of was Bloc Party, the riffs, but a very strong case could be made for the Strokes at the same time. Especially it must be said when we clasp ears on the singer who has an off-the-cuff cool who has it within his gift to hold back the explosive parts until the last possible moment, at which point things go nuclear. These boys sure have the fire in their collective bellies and this song has an soon-to-be-an-anthem written all over it. KH
