Holysloot – Wandering

When did we get the invite to the inside workings of a game I was thinking before Holysloot took matters into their own hands and went full indie swagger on us. And Wandering proved that it had plenty of territory to cover, fulsome of indie boy vocals but also a cantering style that gives the piece an anthemic quality – albeit off-kilter and as individual as can be. Reminded me of the short lived Ruling Class (or the Bluetones for that matter) band and their deference to all things Stone Roses but I’ve heard plenty here to suggest Amsterdam’s Holysloot have plenty other tricks up their sleeves too. KH
