Brendon Moon – Fear

That is some serious percussive action at the start – reminding of a 90’s Suede, suggestive of an act who is aware that noise is the only way forward and so underlines it with chords that have a grunge aspect. All so serious but the edge is definitely taken off as Sydney artist Brendon Moon instills levity and hooks aplenty. ‘Fear’ is a song with prog motivations and I was reminded of Danish act Mew as a result. With so much going on it was clear that the things we were feeling was love so at that moment ‘Fear’ gripped us. KH
