Jude Moses – Isle of Skye

Screams folk heroes Midlake and all the goodness that comes with it, namely layered harmonies that have depth and meaning but then any track that takes such dreamy locations as that northern outpost was always likely to offer goosebumpery. I could hear the traditional instruments in there, adding to a grandiose sound but at the forefront of our aching ears were those words and the way they might just confer a mandatory urge to dance with anyone in the vicinity. It already feels like it has been with us for aeons and one that will continue far into the future. KH
