Takes a lot of talent to sound this relaxed and tropical, to a degree that ‘Midnight Man’ gets a little hypnotic as it goes but wouldn’t it help if we were drinking coconut milk while we were at it? Luckily we weren’t in need of such exotic tipples for the tracks bursts into incandescent flavour at the turn of the first minute, a definite highlight and one that keeps returning periodically to ensure our cheeks are kept appropriately rosy throughout. Found myself closing both eyes and being ferried to an island in the sun and you know what that counts for a whole lot in the middle of a dark and dank February.
