A fine name for a band (or more precisely a solo inventer from Bristol), especially one pushing bird sounds and reverb to this degree. It had me a little woozy, drunk before midday but ‘For A Brief Moment’ is worth any side effects because this is a chiming instrumental with much more than the usual tranche of melody. The descent into MBV territory was a definite turn in the road and a thrilling one at that to a degree that I felt the rare sensation of a spine tingle brought on by audio. Doesn’t matter that there wasn’t a word to be uttered because this song’s greatness is written in the stars. We are entering beautiful territory here. KH
