This is lively stuff, the kind of activity you’d expect from a gaming arcade back in the day and I can hear references to that time with a little Echo & The Bunnyman here and there to suggest that Man Or Astro-Man? know what it is like to be in a band and what we expect as fans looking for our musicians to show scarce respect for our future tinnitus. But then this Alabama act have been around for decades so know what’s what when it comes to incongruous sound. To be honest I’d listen to Tenth Planet all day long, going for it as if their lives depend on it. Brilliant noise. KH
