We always know what we’re getting into when it comes to these precious Norwegians and that is a diet of pure indie pop, the likes of which is rarer these days. The thing though, and this is crucial, is how ‘Talk With You’ informs us of the band’s hold on how a melody should be deployed and how said sweetness can transport the listener to a lovelier place. The mood evoked is slightly tropical this time, as if we’ve got vaccinated and are lying on a faraway beach with not a concern in the world to occupy our thoughts.
