Now here is a rarity, a song on mp3hugger that is not hot off the presses. In fact ‘Swift To The Kill’ comes from Dublin band My Uncle Stoat’s self-titled debut LP from 2018. What we get is an ever so swoonsome vocal from Ryan Taylor Doyle that genuinely gets to the heart of the matter. The music is no slouch either, to give us a combination with an emotional presence and reminding of JJ72, Radiohead and Jeff Buckley. The instrumental crescendo comes late but its presence in tandem with the adult choirboy vocals is a thing of beauty. KH
