As festive numbers go this one definitely seems to be on the quieter side of things (only early on it must be said) but with a beating heart that could only come from an individual, known as Lauren Luiz, who knows how to craft a song to impact upon the listening hoards. The trick Girlhouse have employed here is to not only give us a Christmas song but a pretty darn good song for the rest of the year too. And what is even better is that ‘Ugly Xmas Sweater Party’ is embellished with brass and other Christmas trinkets to add the necessary trimming to have us all aglow even before the tree is up! 🎄 KH
