Perhaps drink was taken, or at least that’s how I read the opening and before the elaborate chord heavy arranged arrived and transported us to a world of baggy and cool harmonies. Yep it’s jangly, elaborate and includes an all important chorus to have lovers of fine ambience in a swoon. So swooned I did while bedding down to a piece of work from this Italian/Anglo trio that could have come from the deepest nineties as Madchester finally nailed its groove. KH
