On ‘Los Feliz’ we’re encouraged to waltz as if it is the last song of the night. There are obvious hints of Sufjan Stevens but he has rarely let us get this close on the cheek to cheek front. The words tumble, the folk players do their thing and when the curtains come down we’re all holding hands and thanking the gods for letting us all be in the one room together. A quite beautiful affair for these most awful of times and one-quarter of the work present on Ben Cramer and Luke Sital-Singh’s perfectly titled ‘All The Ways You Sing In The Dark’ EP. KH
