Fever Dolls – Death Comes (For Good Sons)

Such lively discourse as ever from New York’s Fever Dolls, fulsome drama coming from a variety of sources and every time we hear them we know we’ve been party to an experience where the plans have been poured over until everything falls into place perfectly. I hadn’t heard it before in their sound but ‘Death Comes (For Good Sons)’ has the Magic Numbers formula here, the ebullience coming in those layered boy/girl vocals where each tries to outdo the other for prominence. Makes for a boon for us listeners, a song in an constant state of evolution so we better get out of the office and into the sunshine. KH
