Reminded me a lot of Argentinian artist Juana Molina (Elsa is Dutch), the chirping but subtle changes of direction that display a personality who will not be shifted from her own path. In the end it was the instrumental break that took us further and to a place we rarely go. Means Elsa Birgitta Bekman’s debut album ‘Once in my Life’ should become essential listening as the nights grow long.
