Seeing as it is Saturday morning we’re entitled to some easy listening, and the lo-set jangle here perfectly sets up a haul of wise words from Alabama’s Lady Legs. Given the season ‘Learning From Myself’ could well just sync with our left to right and right to left hammock sways – hardly interrupting but always adding to the pastoral scene. In fact such is its persuasive stream of consciousness it becomes a meditative agenda setter, but at the same time breaking free of monastic poses to leave us on a complete high as brass and the general build suggests there may also be life beyond the land of snooze. A shapely listen indeed. KH
