At first I believed Vancouver duo Taylor Swindells and Brenon Parry were keeping their cards close to their chests and in the process we’d have to discover where they are coming from, but more importantly where they are going to. But there is restless initiative in ‘Waiting On Bad News’ and no little genius too, not least in a promo video that is just swelling with rich imaginative touches. Suggests that the Tourist Company are planning for world domination, via new album ‘St Helens’ with clear direction and most importantly the talent to go beyond world and towards interstellar. KH
