Must admit that this song from L.A. based duo Joel and Sharon Piedt just got me straight away, pulling us into Carrousel’s world via a a rush of emotional swooning. More than a bit like Arcade Fire’s work on the soundtrack to ‘Dumbo’ ‘Feel Like Going Home’ is dreamy and reminiscent of the moment you fall asleep. Likely then that it will impact on those who defer to soft cinematic allure and by extension offers a perfect tonic for all the extra time we have to take stock and finally realise what the important things are.
