This Norweigan band is so interwoven with our festive experience (Here Comes Christmas) it is difficult to not get that tingle in the belly as soon as their name is mentioned. Especially so when the gentle usherings are as special as they are on ‘The Highway Again’. Makes for the sweetest of confections, harmonies swell a la Alvvays and old school Belle & Sebastian. Add in some gentle chord-based jangle and the result is indiepop bliss that would grace any period in music from the 90’s right through to 2019. As a result this track is sweet enough for all the merry times that happen throughout the year. KH
