Zurich’s Black Sea Dahu had me thinking of Thom Yorke but then it deviates, which could be down to the depth of melody or perhaps just the sound of a real song bubbling under. Whatever it is ‘How You Swallowed your Anger’ is a magnetic presence, the simple structures swirling and combining with Janine Cathrein impassioned delivery. Haunting from the very first listen. KH
