You could be convinced at first that this is a languid piece of jazz capering. ‘Your Face is Turning Blue’ makes like something from a movie too or at least that’s what we thought until the twist arrived and its indie rock superpowers were unleashed. Hadn’t expected that turn of events at all but in a hoary old world of same same it’s what gives Kristianne Bautista and Speck City a considerable edge. KH
