Denmark’s Trentemøller have synthy-fied Neil Young’s 1982 classic ‘Transformer Man’. The outcome is a Kraftwerk like rumble of solid synths that have a certain dissonance, just like Marie Fisker’s vocals which have the capacity to be as melodic as can be but are quite oblivious to that instinct and seem more content to play with our emotions.
