Could actually work for Tarantino, that primal bass line and the lippy but ever laconic frontman (Daniel Lyon) who easily embeds himself in the glorious swagger. There is a feeling of madchester (via Seattle), baggy and a colourful psychedelic sideshow to keep us entertained throughout. Makes for a weekender (scream it loud) alright, shards of chiming chords light up as we wait for the inevitable rush to the crescendo.
