Tuning in on a sodden morning and this sounds like a real comfort to lift the minor blues away. It’s easy to fall for the slide guitar but ‘Just A Memory Now’ also boasts a vocal that appears to have just come from a self-made lake of tears. Nashville’s Andrew Lipow engages with a rich and emotional listen with a genuine feeling permeating through every fiber of its being. Reminds me of a UK band called Witness who we featured several times on the blog through the years. KH
