Them low hung chords and slacker momentum are one thing but to mark this out as a rare old occasion we need a killer vocal to seal the deal. And in that respect this band with Alex Naidus (ex of the Pains of Being Pure at Heart) on the mic do not disappoint in giving us fey boy antics and a soundtrack for the summer months ahead. It amounts to a fun and pastoral experience that recalls the Field Mice at their most effervescent. KH
