I fizzed delorean like through time and back to the moment where OMD were capable of sending my little head into a mess of popsome giddiness. Yep, ‘A Little Color’ recreated the experience and with its gorgeous grasp on how cascading melodies should sound. Even if you’ve tired of that obsession with the 80’s Ian Walters has done something here that veers away from pastiche and in the process brings something new to the legwarmer party. KH
