willolux – Flatline

I’ll say it without hesisitation that Vancouver artist willolux is the most consistent performer we’ve encountered over the last 12 months. You know my heart skips a beat every time I see a new song from Kristina Emmott on the horizon. And ‘Flatline’ is her first post debut album release that’ll have Alvvays fans (and Sundays fans as ever) in raptures. As is generally the case it may take a few visits before the depth in the lyrics and playing on this most personal of songs becomes obvious. Oh joy. KH
