Fab name for a band and though it somehow doesn’t fully match the gorgeous undertow of sound that emerges on ‘Be You’ that hardly matters. So why mention it you might say, well I struggled to find anything else to detract from what is the type of Fleetwood Mac track we could listen to all day. You know the kind of one that has a vibrancy and honesty that you know has divined from a youthful eye, a keen ear and most of all a talent for saying it all without filter. Brighid Fry and Pascale Padilla are at the core of Toronto’s Moscow Apartment and on this evidence there is little doubt that a First Aid Kit like grip on the music world is inevitable. Absolutely stellar stuff from the band’s upcoming debut LP. KH
