That name had me on my guard and as such was not expecting such a jangle pop surprise in ‘Wasting Time’. Thought it would be a lot more thunderous rather than the Field Mice or Cat on Fire but then the best things in life arrive unannounced and unexpectedly. This is the kind of song that became the bedrock of mp3hugger when it started way back in 2005 so it is great to have another chiming delight to carry on that fine lineage. ‘Wasting Time’ is the sparkling debut single from this brand new band from Virginia.
