Sixteen Jackies – You Came

‘You Came’ is quite the off-kilter number and what a lovely surprise it is to be greeted by a singer (Joey DeMarco) so in control of the languid if eccentric arrangements. That voice is so guttural and affecting it doesn’t really matter that there is a storm kicking about all around. There is a certain arrogance too, but it is certainly warranted as this act are offering something different. KH
