There is just something about this band that sets them apart, a distinct waft of drama in each of their compositions. That said a degree of patience is required as Rebeca Arango and co. set out their case, so those of a shuffling disposition could well be out the gap before the grand reveal. I know by now though that the picture is not entirely complete until fade out but there is so much in the studied musicianship that the journey makes for a joyful piece of art. ‘Trust’ has a slightly jauntier approach than is the norm for Oddnesse however, never losing their unhurried approach but a good deal more for the casual listener to have their attention piqued. Treasure them. KH
