Typically ecstatic stuff from this rural New York City act. Traditional and folk but with the soul of a rock star ever present. It conjures the sixties like the Rolling Stones as they peer out on the muddy festival field during another weekend of excess. ‘Nowacki Glow’ certainly evokes that sense of wild abondonment and a little more too, something that moves you inside the way not many pieces of music can. Dylan would have been proud as would the Velvet Underground. A lesson in music history then, in just a few minutes. KH
