What a celestial piece of music, very Mercury Rev circa Deserter Songs with perhaps a greater urgency than that languid affair. What impressed me most however are the arrangements which are expansive and warm, infused with melody and plenty hints of seasonal (read Christmas) spirit. A fine effort from a Cambridge band who seem to be hitting their groove about half a decade into their career. KH
