Yeah I know the year has only begun but I’d be somewhat alarmed if ‘Fields’ didn’t make its way to near the top of our fave songs of 2013. With the insouciance of an Ambulance LTD number or the charm and downright whistleability of a prized James Mercer moment this is a rush of sweet melody from start to finish. Given their proximity to Austin this year’s SXSW could well be marked by the return of the soft jangling tune, and if it does Tiger Waves will be leading the charge. Genuinely can’t wait to hear what they do next. KD
