Gainsville band Rex Or Regina don’t go in for exhaustive bio’s. In fact so extreme are their views on the subject that they’ve dispensed with one altogether, leaving bloggers whose fancy has been taken left with no choice but to come up with original thoughts. As you can imagine I’ve struggled with such a concept and have instead reached for the obvious fall back technique wherein I state that with this band it doesn’t really matter that we know nothing about them because their music does all the talking. For what it’s worth ‘Close The Gap’ is a multi-dimensional beast, like a demo that started out like a common swan before metamorphosing into a much more interesting ugly duckling. It has the early 90’s written all over it. KD
