‘Weathervane’ originated, like a lot of nice things, from the Norweigan Eardrumpop‘s label. I must admit I missed the original release by Early To Bed but tracked it back after roman remixer Schlock (fully capitalised and followed by !) sent me this reworking. Both the original and the remix are wonderful (I’m hearing Sally Shapiro) with the latter particularly suited to warm sunny Friday wind-downs. Schlock can also be found dabbling with Pomegranates and Hello Seahorse!, both of which appeared here recently so we’ll probably be delving again soon. KD
