Nothing as clichéd as an overexcited blogger telling it how it is so here goes, this is flippin’ brill! This band appear from nowhere (well, Reading, eh that’s where Chapterhouse came from) with a song that is going to be everywhere by year’s end. ‘Cinnamon’ might be missing sally but it’s still classic indie, recorded that way too because the sheen is muddied which only enhances my slavish adoration. At 2 minutes it is likely to become the finale for new music shows from here to Timbuktu and what a blowout. This is the first bounce from ‘Spacehopper’, Tripwires’ debut, which is due in May. Something tells me the Vaccines won’t have it all their own way in 2011. KD
