Lusine – Two Dots

Before we get into this deliciously different piece of music let’s establish what on earth a Lusine is. No idea to be honest (neither does the internet) but what is clear is that Lusine is the moniker adopted by Jeff McIlwain for his electronic forays. And those forays have produced this absolute beauty; a tender peephole into what will be his second album ‘A Certain Distance’. ‘Two Dots’ is slightly unconventional but has the wherewithal to soothe even the ears of insurance people at their annual convention. Vilja Larjosto’s vocals are perfectly pitched for the sprightly electro synths. A vitality suite for your head par excellence. KD

The original name of the “band” was L’usine, which means “the factory”. Tada!
