Should really have put the sound of summer to bed by now but let’s cherish the dying embers to the Stereolabfantastic sound of Marshmallow Coast. Sadly it seems that the Denver collective are no longer with us but the jazz trained M Coast lead man Andy Gonzales has left us with a lovely set of peppy brickbusters. Emily Growden sings like a chanteuse of repute on ‘Sail Around The World’ while the music around her swoops and flutters like a thousand well behaved hummingbirds. This is something ultra groovy for dance moves that don’t distinguish themselves while in company. KD
