This is only the Little Ones second release but they already find themselves dressed for success. Sunny pop this good don’t come along too often and smiling faces are the order of the day throughout the bands latest ‘Terry Tales & Fallen Gates’ EP. ‘Boracay’ is the second track and takes no time at all to whip itself into a frenzy of jumbled hooks and melodies. And when is the last time you heard the sound of the Caribbean so naturally integrated into a full on pop sensation? Christ, I’m starting to sound like Smashie and Nicey but it seems all sense of reason goes out the window when the sound of summer is blasting from nearby speakers. The Little Ones are currently on tour but sadly won’t be landing on our shores; there are several UK dates however. KD
