The shame is of course is that the Cocteau Twins didn’t get to write an original Christmas tune but this is the next best thing. Taken from the limited 1992 release ‘Snow’ it displays what the Cocteau Twins were all about, namely Robin Guthrie’s shimmering guitars and Liz Fraser’s equally spellbinding vocals. ‘Snow’ also included ‘Winter Wonderland’ but ‘Frosty..’ takes it by a nose by virtue of its fluffy light heartedness.
