If Camera Obscura are ever to achieve what their music ultimately deserves then watch the female fronted bandwagon ride into town with gusto. Before all of that happens we can sit back and be entertained by the breezy charms of the Gladeyes from Auckland. Jade Farley and Gwen Norcliffe provide the twin vocals on ‘Bad Town Blues’ while a gentle jangle affair spills from a colourful instrument. The effect is a DIY confection that has the capacity to escape a bedroom in the southern hemisphere and move into the concert halls of the world.
