We get a few tickets to shows and some free music, but I find that I now purchase a lot more music than I did before I started blogging.<BR/><BR/>The greatest rewards have been in earning a certain amount of respect from the blog community, making new friends online, and learning new computer skills. Let me add, though - Dreamhost is not a viable solution for mp3 hosting. After garnering 60 gigs a day of transfer (thanks to streaming media players that pull a feed off of HypeMachine), they pulled the plug on me. Though I was well under my bandwidth limits, they claimed I was hosting copyrighted material. Even though there wasn't any complaints, they used that excuse to get rid of a bandwidth hog. I'm about to switch to a provider that doesn't have these problems, thank god.
