I don’t think ‘Nervous Summer’ could get any more lo-fi and bedroom derived and it reminded me of two of our fave acts Dolfish and Clinic. In a world which boasts a dearth of real emotion it boasts a lake of the stuff – albeit framed by the awkwardness involved in the administration of first love. Malcolm Regan and Sammy Sizemore wrote it 8 years ago and thankfully their band of merry men from Cleveland have seen fit to keep its original off-kilter approach intact. KH
