Listening to ‘Don’t Even Move’ for the first time was an occasion of grandiose heart-swelling realisation. I put it aside for a while though, worrying that I’d somehow overegged my instinctual love for it. Seems my gut was true though because this is a warm sirocco of a tune. Berlin’s Moon Under Water (Michael Bloss) has crafted sixties sensibilities via sepia-tinged production but the real victory comes from a chorus that effortlessly levitates the mood. KH
